Yenching Academy Celebrates Its Third Anniversary

On May 5th, the Yenching Academy of Peking University celebrates its 3rd anniversary. It is an elite postgraduate college ofPeking University, China's "most prestigious" and "first modern" university. At its launch, the Peking Universityleadershipdescribed it as the "most ambitious academic initiative Peking University has launched since the turn of the new century."

The Yenching Academy is a highly selective, fully funded fellowship program that offers one year of study leading to a master's degree from Peking University. Yenching Scholars hail from more than 40 countries and 80 different universities around the world, with the most numerous coming from University of Oxford, Harvard University, Princeton University, University of Cape Town, University of Cambridge, Stanford University, and Yale University.
